Elites or not?
Peijun was sharing about something in STOMP today. so out of curiosity, i went to see. since it is like age and environment related.well, some of you might already know. it one of the most shocking news recently. one of the top elite JC, well, ACJC students were having birthday celebration in school. in a wrong way, im sure. it is difficult to explain the whole story.read it up. but if they are going to be elites of our nation, i worry. no doubts they might be more intellectual. but behind their hearts, i wonder what it hides. when they grow up, what will happen? has peer bulling become a norm that sometimes, we cant differentiate what is peer bullying and what is not? as i watched the video, my heart really chill. im afraid... of what will happen to the next generations' mindset and future. even the teachers are not teaching in a right way, what more can we expect from the students? i now really understands Pst Lia's heart. 100% understood. worst, it doesn't happen in just one school. i cant imagine. they are not young and immature. they are at least 17 years old. being immature or fun-seeking is not an excuse. worst, there are many who just stand and watch. why am i not surprise... if they are going to be leaders of our nation... i will pray even more. |
