hi guys! O's is ending soon yeah. oh ya. supposed to study SS but have the strong urge to blog about this week sermons! it was GREAT.

this week was about leadership. and certainly, i learnt alot from it! it taught me more on what is leadership, and i realised where i am weak in, where i can improve on! and like what Pastor How said, when we rise up as leaders, more people will come in. then, upsize 1000! Amen!

well, so far, i have not seen people say they dont wish to be leaders! i mean, almost everyone hopes to be a leader in any kind of ways. maybe in school, your cca or church! i really seen people fighting for power and get the position they wants.( oh, i sound so old, like i been living for 65 years...) but really, in school or wherever, people are always fighting and trying to be leaders of another. yet, most of them i seen outside, wants to be leader because of power, fame, glory, status.

i learnt that being a leader is not about positions or ranks, but about influence. how much influence you have! of course, good influence. you can lead people by forcing them, but then, are you able to influence them? people will be changed by you if you have a good influence. for example, your friend speaks vulgarities, however, he was influenced by you because you dont speak! isnt that great. you are a leader!

of course, being a leader is not that simple. leaders teach! people learn from you. leaders obviously lead! most importantly, leaders inspire and motivates. how can you be a leader when you are forever discouraging people, putting them down. you will never be a leader, and you will never produce a good leader.

oh come on, this week sermons are really long, and i cant explain all to you. but you can always ask me =) haha. im going to buy the sermons cds. however, there are some points that really impacted me.

no man with a marred face! a leader should never have a marred face spiritually. which mean he or she has low self-esteem. and these people can never do their best for God or give their best to God. so i realised that being confident and bold is important. when you have ideas and wanna share, why not just take the step out. i may not be sure if my idea is good or bad, but if you think it is okays, and really want to share, just say it out! it not going to kill you. so what if my idea is rejected, but i took a bold step.

and sometimes, i feel that with no confidence or boldness, we dont speak what we think. we hide our feelings, our thinkings. we dont share the solutions we have to a problem. cause we dont want to be responsible for it. what if things goes wrong and everyone blame me, then, i will be blamed and laughed at. but i learnt that we should never have this thinking. a leader should be accountable and responsible, as what Pastor How said. cause leaders are reliable and trustworthy people!

no man with a broken hand! a leader is not to order people. but leaders are to serve people. we, being children of God, must be servant-hearted. i learnt that big things or small things, it doesnt matter. cause whatever we do, we are serving God! it reminds me of the devotional. one man went for a job interview but was refused. when he goes out, he saw a needle on the road and he picked it up! he was then offered the job and rose up to be a great leader! yet, another man who also appiled for a job, spelt tuesday wrongly. this man was not offered the job. i mean, how many of us will really pick up the needle, or rather, how many of us will really see it? i realised that only through small things, we are able to see if this man/woman is a leader!

aww. there is really lot of things to share. through this sermons, it really point out to me where im really weak at leadership. and of course, there are alot! ha! but it is a good thing i know, im learning and changing. i always thought leaders were always to lead. they also had the responsibilities to raise up good leaders. that cool! and really, i seems to see people are getting more initiative and pro-active in small little things. however, we gotta continue to improve and change our weaknesses into our strengths.

no one is without weaknesses. but has he/she realise it. wow. a precious lesson i had. and always say, i am a leader! its great to see people in our cg growing. really. then, we can breakthrough 30 regulars by christmas this year. and church will break through 1000 regulars too!

D5 has 30 people. =)

i love You, Jesus. You are so amazing! =D
